(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - Prominent Iranian cleric met with Iraq Prime Minister to stress the friendly relations between the neighboring country and call for more ties between the World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought and Iraqi elites, thinkers.Ayatollah Mohsen Araki, Secretary General of the World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought met with Iraq Prime Minister, Nouri Al Maliki and highlighted the importance of providing the grounds for a unified nation as the objective of the Islamic unity organization.Iranian scholar in this meeting said, “In the statement by the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution appointing the new secretary general of the World Forum, providing the grounds for creation of a unified Islamic nation has been stressed as the objective and the strategy of unity as the way for the aim.”He referred to the World Forum for Proximity of Islamic schools of Thought as the center that paves the way for introduction of people from different Islamic denominations to each other and said,” This center follows the identity of a unified Islamic nation in line with the teachings of Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) so that Muslims turn into a blessing in the world same way that Prophet of Islam was a privilege for all the people.”Secretary General of the World Forum also announced that a new phase of Islamic proximity will begin in the upcoming annual Islamic Unity conference to be held concurrent with the birth anniversary of Prophet Mohammad (PBUH).Iraqi Prime Minister hailed the activities for boosting Islamic proximity and vowed development of proximity activities with the World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought.He also referred to proximity thoughts of the late founder of Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Seyyed Rouhollah Khomeini (RA) and said,” We hope that religious, sectarian and tribal disagreements in Iraq will decrease through the cooperation with the World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought.”Hadi Al Ameri, Iraqi Minister of Transport in this meeting announced the support of Badr Corps for cooperation with the headquarters of the World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought in Iraq.As an initiation to respond the notorious American film, desecrating Prophet of Islam, earlier in October, World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought announced Friday during Islamic Unity Week, January 25th 2013, as the Festival of Mohammad (PBUH). /129
