(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - A number of eminent Lebanese and Palestinian scholars have said that Imam Khamenei’s message to Hajj pilgrims stressed the importance of unity among Muslims.
According to al-Alam website, some of Lebanese and Palestinian scholars, in separate interviews, said yesterday, October 26, that the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution in his message to the annual Hajj Pilgrimage urged all Muslims to maintain their unity in the face of Western-Zionist plots.
They said that His Eminence also attached great importance to the issue of Palestine calling on Muslims to defend the holy Quds which indicates the value of Palestine cause.
Sheikh Mohamed Moed, an official with Palestine Scholars Council, said that, “Ayatollah Khamenei's message underlined the need for promoting unity and solidarity among Muslims. Hence, all-out effort ought to be made in order to fulfill such an obligation”.
He further said that the message pointed out that the Zionists and Western countries are seeking to foment discord among Shia and Sunni Muslims by orchestrating sectarian plots calling on Muslims to remain vigilant.
In various statements issued in this respect, Lebanese and Palestinian scholars and intellectuals have also urged Muslims around the world to preserve their unity in order to foil the enemies' plots.
