(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - The Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza announced that 13 Palestinians were martyred during the continued Israeli aggression on Gaza since the beginning of this month.
Dr. Ashraf Al-Qudra, the ministry's spokesman, said that the martyrs were killed by Israeli gunfire since the beginning of October. He added that 33 Palestinians were wounded during this month.
Four Palestinian men were reported killed, five injured, on Wednesday as Israel's aerial bombardment of Gaza continued until the early morning hours.
For their part, Palestinian armed resistance groups fired 50 home-made shells at Israeli targets near the Gaza strip as a response to Israel's escalation in attacks targeting the coastal region.
Meanwhile, Fatah movement has called on the Palestinian resistance factions in the Gaza Strip to stop rocket fire, and to avoid responding to the Israeli military escalation against Gaza, in an attempt to avoid "potential Israeli war."
Osama al-Qawasmi, spokesman for the movement, stated that "avoiding Israeli reactions and the ravages of war on the Gaza Strip lies in stopping Palestinian rocket fire and adopting a united popular resistance program".
"We do not want war with the Israeli occupation, which says to the international community that the missile offset missile, so the victim turned to a criminal through the Israeli media, which is stronger than the Arab and Palestinian media for this we must protect our people from the horrors of war in any way," he added.
Qawasmi predicted an expanded Israeli military aggression against the Gaza Strip with the approach of the Israeli elections in January.
