(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - Interpol has declared Iraqi Vice President Tariq Hashemi a wanted fugitive.He is suspected of organizing and financing terrorist attacks, according to report by Al-Jazeera.Interpol’s announcement follows a request by the Iraqi authorities.Mounting evidence against Hashemi includes the testimony of witnesses and other evidence.In response, the fugitive vice president says that he is willing to stand trial, provided that it will be a fair trial and that there are guarantees in place providing for his personal safety.Tariq Hashemi is one of the most influential Sunni politicians and is accused of creating death squads.In addition, he is suspected in being involved in several murders and the attempted murder of several members of the Iraqi government and senior officials from the police and the army./129
