(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - A massive funeral procession of slain Shiite leader, Askari Raza, staging a sit-in outside Governor House on Sunday 01 January 2012 at nigh, Photo by Yasir Kazmi, Karachi, Pakistan.

Thousands of angry Shia protesters marched to the Governor House on Sunday to protest the killing of a community leader.

Askari Raza, 40, was attacked in Gulshan-e-Iqbal on Saturday evening and died of his wounds in hospital later.

Askari Raza was General Secretary of Pasban-e-Aza and was an active member of Hidayat-e-Hussaini(a.s) Foundation, and had played an important role for innocent prisoners and other works related to the prosperity of the nation.
