(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - A few months ago, a book was published in Iran on the multifaceted personality of Imam Ali based on Sunni references. The book is being rendered into several languages to be released in other Islamic countries.
The work, titled as Assessment of Imam Alis Complex Personality through Sunni Wits Views, is compiled by Gholamreza Husseini and the translations are being prepared by Tehrans Performing Headquarters of Friday Prayers.
In an interview with IBNA, Husseini said the book was debuted by the center and is being reprinted due to the wide welcome for the work. Moreover, the translation of the books text into several languages is being prepared by the same headquarters.
He said the book is arranged in two volumes containing 1000 quotations (Hadith) from Sunni references on the personality of Imam Ali (peace be upon him) regarding science, society, politics, spirituality, etc.
Research deputy of the Islamic Maaref Foundation went on to say that by writing the book he meant to find references on the supremacy of Imam Ali compared to other companions of Prophet Mohammad in trusted Sunni texts.
A thorough assessment of Imam Alis personality has been provided in the book which has been welcomed by non-Muslims since its publication in Iran, he added.
