(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - The Human Welfare Trust recently distributed Iftar kit under Vision 2016 to more than 11,000 poor Muslim families in 14 states like Bihar, West Bengal, Assam, Uttar Pradesh, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Jharkhand, Chattisgarh, Tamil Nadu, Maharashtra, Gujarat, Haryana and Delhi till 17th August 2011. Each kit consisted of ingredients enough for an average family for the whole month of Ramazan.
New Delhi - Salimullah Khan, National Co-ordiantor of vision 2016 said that the foundation distributed 9,000 Iftar Kit to poor Muslim families in last Ramadan as well
Ingredients in Iftar kit are for one month which cost is about rupees fifteen hundred (Rs. 1500). He told that the aim of foundation is to provide maximum support and benefit to poor Muslim families so that they can fast and break Iftar like common people rather than taking fast and breaking Iftar without proper meals and Iftar.
Iftar Kit contents: Rice/Wheat Four 20 kg, Sugar 3 kg, Cooking Oil 2 Kg, Besan (Gram Flour) 2 kg, Dal (Pulses) 2 kg, Salt 1 kg, Milk Powder 1 kg, Tea Leaves ½ kg, and Dates 2 kg.
