He also stressed Iran's role in the establishment of security and stability in the region, and called on the regional countries to cooperate to remove tensions from the region.
During the meeting, Aqa Jafari underlined Iran's eagerness to further expand ties with Bahrain, and said that the Islamic Republic has no limitation for developing relations with Manama.
He also called for an increase in the two countries' trade cooperation and exchanges, joint investments, reciprocal visits by the Iranian and Bahraini people and mutual efforts to provide more facilities for the two countries' tourists.

Mir-Kazzemi added that the deal to export gas to Bahrain will soon be finalized after negotiations between gas experts of the two countries.
He expressed the hope that bilateral ties between the two friendly countries, specially in the field of oil and gas cooperation, would be promoted in the near future.
