Ahlul Bayt News Agency ; Majlis Deputy from Isfahan city and south of Iran, Robert Beglarian, says the US pastor Terry Jones’ Quran burnign call results from either his unawareness of Islam or his prejudice and wrong attitude towards the blessed religion.
Beglarian in an interview with Iran News Agency on Saturday proposed designating a day in Iran calendar as the Day of Divine Religions and Divine Books.
He said divine religions have always been respected in Islam and followers of the religions have always led a peaceful and tranquil life under the shadow of the religion.
Respect for religious beliefs of citizens of any country, of clans and of groups is a priority given in the human rights charter and the Christian community hence condemns the call of the Christian pastor.
