AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran and Mohammad Ishaq Dar, the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Pakistan, discussed regional developments and ceasefire-related issues in a telephone conversation.

The Deputy Prime Minister of Pakistan, explaining his country's efforts to end the war and establish peace in the region, emphasized Pakistan's readiness to continue consultations in this regard.

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Iran, while expressing gratitude for the benevolent efforts and mediation of Pakistan in the negotiations related to the ceasefire and the end of the war, recalled Iran's responsible approach in entering the diplomatic process to end the war.

Referring to the bitter experiences of the past year and the repeated breaches of faith by the United States, particularly the military aggression against Iran in the midst of negotiations in June 2024 and March 2026, he described the recent actions of the United States, including violation of the ceasefire, threatening Iranian ports, coasts, and vessels, threatening rhetoric, proposing unreasonable demands, and persistent contradictions, as clear signs of bad faith and lack of seriousness on the part of the United States in diplomacy.

He stated, "The Islamic Republic of Iran will use all its capacities to safeguard Iran's national interests and security."

The Ministers of Foreign Affairs of Iran and Pakistan emphasized the continuation of consultations to advance the shared goal of safeguarding peace and security in the region.
