AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): Brigadier General Mohammad Akraminia, the spokesman of the Islamic Republic of Iran Army, stated in a television interview today, "This year we are facing special circumstances. Army units are on high alert. The current ceasefire makes little difference to us compared to wartime conditions; for this reason, it is not possible to hold parade ceremonies in cities as in previous years. Instead, we have tried to hold various cultural programs in cities and army garrisons."
He added, "Among our programs is a more prominent presence of army personnel and commanders at Friday prayer ceremonies tomorrow, and speeches by commanders before the prayer sermons."
The Army Spokesman stated, "Additionally, a motorcade parade by the Army's Provost Marshal will be held in the squares of Tehran."
Brigadier General Akraminia stated, "During these days, the presence of commanders in nightly public gatherings in city squares will be more prominent, and in many of these squares, commanders will give speeches about the achievements of the armed forces."
The Army Spokesman added, "It was also the order of the General Commander of the Army that if a ground aggression against the country occurs, it must be dealt with decisively, and he had emphasized that not a single one of the aggressors should remain alive."
Brigadier General Akraminia stated, "On April 5, an infiltration attempt by the Americans took place, and Martyr Zare, along with a group of his comrades, immediately appeared on the scene. With great courage, using a shoulder-launched missile, they struck the American C-130 Hercules aircraft, causing the American mission to be halted and end in failure, and forcing the Americans to flee the scene."
