Roknabadi: From the Perspective of the Martyred Leader, Women Must Be in the Front Lines of Defending Islamic Values

Dr. Roknabadi stated, "The martyred Leader, always with a critical view of the two models—the Eastern model (marginalized and roleless women) and the Western model (woman as a commodity)—introduced the 'third model.'"

AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): Organized by the Labbayk Ya Zahra (a.s.) Institute of the United Kingdom, in collaboration with the General Department of Women and Family of the Deputy for International Affairs of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly, the webinar "Forty Nights of Separation: The Ummah in the Light of the Martyr's Blood" was held on the occasion of the 40th day of the martyrdom of Imam Khamenei.

In this webinar, attended by more than 150 English-speaking women, Ms. Umm Farwah Naqvi, the director of the Labbayk Ya Zahra (a.s.) Institute from the United Kingdom, delivered a speech after reciting an epic poem in lamentation of the martyred Leader.

Emphasizing the necessity of devotion to the Guardianship (Wilayah) and obedience to the commands of the current Guardian Jurist, she described the role of women in the arena of the jihad of clarification as very important and impactful, and considered it a valuable platform for paving the way for the reappearance of Imam Mahdi (a.s.).

Subsequently, Dr. Roknabadi, the Director General of the Department of Women and Family of the Assembly, presented points to the participants.

After welcoming the attendees and honoring the memory of the great martyred Leader of the Revolution, she said, "Today, we speak of the 'Martyr of Quds,' the wise revolutionary leader, Ayatollah Imam Khamenei—a man who was not only the architect of the strength and stability of Islamic Iran but also a light for the awakening of all the oppressed of the world."

Referring to the goals of the martyred Leader of the Revolution, she continued, "He believed that the Islamic Ummah must break free from the cultural and political yoke of the West and return to its inherent dignity. He always emphasized the unity of the Islamic Ummah and saw the Islamic Ummah in other countries, with hearts full of faith, as an important part of this vast Islamic body."
