AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): A ceremony commemorating the memory of the exalted martyrs of the Ramadan War and honoring the active staff of various university departments during the third imposed war was held on Monday, April 13, with the presence of vice-presidents, directors, a number of faculty members, and staff in the prayer hall of the International University of Islamic Denominations.
According to the university's Public Relations report, at this ceremony, which began with Quran recitation, Dr. Mohammad Hadi Fallahzadeh, the President of the University, while offering condolences for the martyrdom of the proud leader of the Ummah, Grand Ayatollah Khamenei, and a number of officials, commanders, armed forces personnel, and citizens in the recent aggressions, delivered a speech.
Citing divine verses, he explained the concept of martyrdom and transaction with God, stating, "The highest gift and most valuable asset of every human being is his existence. Almighty God states in the Noble Qur'an regarding martyrdom that He purchases the lives and wealth of the believers and, in return, grants them eternal paradise. The martyrs are those purchasers who, with precise knowledge of the most truthful buyer, placed their existence on the platter of sincerity."
Dr. Fallahzadeh, referring to the sensitive situation of the country following the martyrdom of the Supreme Leader, praised the wise and historic action of the Assembly of Experts, stating, "The Assembly of Experts convened with proper and intelligent planning, despite the enemy having bombed the main building of this institution in Qom. The members of the Assembly, with a decisive decision, brought the people out of bewilderment and breathed the spirit of unity and cohesion into society."
The President of the International University of Islamic Denominations described the worthy selection of Grand Ayatollah Seyyed Mojtaba Khamenei as the Leader of the Revolution as a turning point in preserving national cohesion. Recalling memories of accompanying him in the 1990s, he added, "I was with him on two Hajj pilgrimages and witnessed firsthand his intelligence, acumen, piety, and his aversion to worldliness. He is a worthy, sincere, and humble individual who has always prioritized God before himself."
Dr. Fallahzadeh noted, "Today, our duty in the university environment is to continue the path of the martyrs and strengthen the unity that is the fruit of the wisdom of the nation's Assembly of Experts and the society's devotion to the Guardianship (Wilayah). We are confident that under the guidance of the Supreme Leader of the Revolution and the insight of the nation, we will pass through this difficult period with honor."
