AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): The office of Grand Ayatollah Sistani has announced that this eminent Shia source of emulation has allocated financial aid to approximately 70,000 displaced Lebanese families, stating that the distribution of this aid will begin on Friday.
Three weeks ago, following the call of Grand Ayatollah Sistani for aid to Iran, the first convoy of popular relief supplies set out from the shrine of Imam Hussain (a.s.) toward Iran.
Previously, Grand Ayatollah Sistani had also condemned the oppressive war against Iran in the strongest terms and called upon all Muslims and free people of the world to condemn it and show solidarity with the oppressed nations of Iran and Lebanon.
