AhlulBayt News Agency: Grand Ayatollah Nasser Makarem Shirazi, following the martyrdom of the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution, issued a message.

In the name of God, the Most Merciful
The great Islamic nation, the seekers of justice worldwide, and the honorable and powerful Iranian people, once again, the enemies of humanity, sworn to their wickedness, emerged from the sleeve of infidelity, and led the wise leader of the revolution and the leader of the struggle against global arrogance to the path of the radiant school of Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them) to the victory of martyrdom.
The awakened and courageous leadership that throughout its life stood on the path of the Islamic Revolution, in the face of storms of events, problems, and pressures, and resisted to its cherished goal, and joined the ranks of martyrs;
Although this heavy loss is painful, Islamic history attests that sacrifice in the path of truth has always been watered with the blood of martyrs, and these martyrdoms will be the price of dignity, independence, and the prelude to the appearance of the Imam of the Age.
In this critical and decisive period, it is necessary to remind a few fundamental points to all the dear people of the Islamic Republic of Iran and the generality of Muslims worldwide:
Always remember that the hand of God's power is superior and higher than all powers. In these trials, let slackness not find its way; for the promise of God's aid is unbreakable;
As the Holy Quran warns about the absence of the Prophet (peace be upon him), the martyrdom of the servants of religion should not cause the least tremor in our will. This revolution is a blessed tree that has not relied on an individual, and with the grace of God and by clinging to "Indeed, God is with the righteous," the flag of this uprising will never remain on the ground, God willing.
Now is the critical time for the Assembly of Experts to fulfill its duties according to the Islamic Republic of Iran's Constitution, without delay and with determination, and its decisions are legally binding.
It is the duty of all government officials to act with doubled motivation and smarter planning, fulfill their responsibilities prepared for such a day, and manage the country's affairs, preventing any disruption in people's lives and society's order and tranquility.
We are in the midst of a full-scale war. Powerful military and police forces, which are a source of people's encouragement, should firmly and without any compromise crush any conspiracy and agitation by enemies and, with wisdom, confront them until their complete destruction.
Our victory code is unity. It is the religious duty of all patriots and the nation to protect the unity of ranks and counter the enemies' influence and rumor-mongering.
The Iranian nation and the Islamic world are avenging the blood of the revolution's martyred leader. The main perpetrators of this crime are the arrogant American government and the Zionist regime, and it is the religious duty of all Muslims worldwide to avenge them until the evil of these criminals is eradicated.
Let us not neglect prayer and supplication, as we are under the shadow of our living Imam and He will never leave us alone. With hearts heavy with grief but hopeful of divine aid, we raise our hands in supplication to the divine threshold and pray for the victory of truth.
In conclusion, I offer my condolences to the presence to the companions of the great revolution, as well as some of our country's innocent and oppressed children and people, to Imam Mahdi (PBUH) and to the Muslim and freedom-loving world, especially the dear people of Iran, and I ask for elevated ranks for the dear ones and patience and great reward from the realm of divinity for the remaining relatives.
