AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): This Pakistani military expert, reacting to Trump's recent remarks on X, described these statements as "shameful" and in contradiction with recognized principles of diplomacy.
Stating that such rhetoric has rarely been observed in the history of U.S. foreign policy, he said, "This type of discourse primarily reflects anxiety and fear regarding the future of regional developments."
According to him, Trump's harsh and unconventional tone indicates that he is considering the possibility of another military adventure by the United States, an action that could lead to a major and decisive defeat, particularly in confronting the Islamic Republic of Iran.
The Pakistani general further emphasized that the continuation of such an approach not only damages the credibility of U.S. diplomacy but that repairing this damage in the future will also require long-term and serious efforts by the country's future leaders.
He also, referring to the personal dimensions of this issue, added, "If the passage of time does not bring maturity to a politician's behavior, then achieving power, wealth, or political position will have no effect in correcting it", a point that, according to him, is clearly observable in Trump's recent remarks.
