AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): Israeli media reported that on the evening of Wednesday, Israel witnessed one of the most extensive waves of missile attacks since the start of the confrontation with Iran.
According to a report by Al Jazeera, Israel’s Channel 14 announced that this attack constitutes the most extensive attack since the beginning of the war, while Israeli Army Radio described it as an exceptional event, adding that most of the missiles were equipped with cluster warheads and scattered over wide areas.
Israeli Army Radio also announced that for the first time since the beginning of the war, Iran had fired ten ballistic missiles toward Israel, some of which were equipped with cluster warheads.
According to these reports, missile shrapnel landed in at least eight locations in central Israel, and plumes of smoke from explosions were observed in some areas.
Israel’s Channel 12 reported the simultaneous launch of missiles from Iran and Lebanon toward the Golan region. Simultaneously, explosions were heard in the skies over Tel Aviv and central Israel, and warning sirens sounded continuously in major cities and West Bank settlements.
According to Israeli military sources, at least four missiles were fired directly toward Tel Aviv, and simultaneous attacks from Iran and Lebanon continued.
Earlier, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps had announced that, as part of Wave 89 of Operation True Promise 4, it had targeted Israeli military targets and forces in Eilat and Tel Aviv. Footage was also released, which the IRGC said showed the moment of this wave of missile launches.
