AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): Professor Murtaza Hamed, a university professor and a Sunni scholarly figure from Afghanistan, has addressed the current state of the Islamic world and ongoing crises in the Middle East in an analytical note titled “A Warning to the Leaders of Islamic Countries.”
In this note, referring to regional developments, from the Gaza war to the escalating tensions between regional and global powers, he has sought to analyze the deeper roots of these crises at the level of leadership, policymaking, and strategic approaches within the Islamic world.
In his view, many of today’s challenges facing the Islamic world are not merely the result of political or military confrontations, but rather stem from a weakness in convergence, the expansion of religious schisms, and the prioritization of short-term political expediencies over the principles of justice and support for the oppressed.
Hamed, in this note with a warning tone, calls upon the leaders of Islamic countries to revisit their policies and approaches and to return to the Quranic principles of unity, independent decision-making, and genuine solidarity among Muslim nations.
