Lebanese Scholars Pledge Loyalty to Ayatollah Khamenei, Vow to Confront Enemy Plots

The Gathering of Muslim Scholars in Lebanon has congratulated the Islamic Republic of Iran on the 47th anniversary of the victory of the Islamic Revolution, reaffirming its allegiance to Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei and pledging to stand firm against hostile plots targeting the Axis of Resistance.

AhlulBayt News Agency: The Gathering of Muslim Scholars in Lebanon has congratulated the Islamic Republic of Iran on the 47th anniversary of the victory of the Islamic Revolution, reaffirming its allegiance to Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei and pledging to stand firm against hostile plots targeting the Axis of Resistance.

In a message addressed to Ayatollah Khamenei, the Lebanese scholars expressed their “deepest congratulations and sincerest salutations” on the advent of the 47th year since the triumph of the 1979 Islamic Revolution, which was founded by the late Ruhollah Khomeini. They prayed that the Revolution would continue to serve as a “radiant beacon for the Muslim world,” guiding nations toward dignity, independence, and resistance against oppression.

The statement underscored Iran’s “central and pivotal role” in regional developments, particularly in the wake of Operation Al-Aqsa Storm. It described the subsequent US-backed Israeli onslaught on Gaza as one of the most intense historical aggressions against the Palestinian people, noting that even international bodies were compelled to address the scale of atrocities committed during the war.

According to the scholars, the confrontation extended beyond Palestine, engulfing Lebanon as well, where the Axis of Resistance sacrificed some of its most prominent leaders. They paid tribute to martyrs at the forefront of the struggle, including the late Secretary General of Hezbollah, Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, describing him as “the master of the martyrs of the Ummah.”

Despite the heavy toll, the statement asserted that the Resistance emerged stronger and more resolute. Drawing a parallel with early Islamic history, the scholars likened the aftermath of recent battles to the resolve shown by Muslims following the Battle of Uhud, emphasizing steadfastness in the face of adversity and eventual victory that forced Israel to seek ceasefires in both Lebanon and Gaza.

The Gathering further hailed Iran’s victory over the Israeli regime and the United States during a “twelve-day war,” despite the martyrdom of several senior commanders. It characterized these developments as clear evidence of the Islamic Republic’s strategic depth and deterrent capability.

The Lebanese scholars credited Iran’s achievements to decades of struggle under the leadership of Imam Khomeini and the “wise and courageous guidance” of Ayatollah Khamenei. They warned that, following its setbacks in Gaza and confrontations with Iran, the Israeli regime is attempting to compensate for its defeats by sowing sectarian, ethnic, and political discord within the Muslim world.

In response, the Gathering declared its readiness to stand under Ayatollah Khamenei’s leadership to confront and neutralize such plots “at their inception,” stressing that heightened awareness and what Iran terms “explanation jihad” are essential tools in countering disinformation and division.

The statement also expressed confidence that Iran is engaging in indirect negotiations with the United States from a position of strength, asserting that Tehran will neither retreat from its peaceful nuclear advancements nor enter discussions over its defensive capabilities.

Concluding their message, the Lebanese scholars reaffirmed their special relationship with the Islamic Republic and reiterated their loyalty to Ayatollah Khamenei. They expressed gratitude for Iran’s continued support for the Resistance movements and voiced hope that bilateral ties between the peoples of Iran and Lebanon would grow stronger, bringing greater prosperity, stability, and dignity to both nations.
