In a joint statement issued on Monday, the top officials emphasized that the nation’s vigilance and unity prevented the success of complex schemes by adversaries seeking to undermine Iran’s unity, independence, and security.
They credited the people’s ability to distinguish between peaceful protesters and rioters, as well as the steadfastness of security forces, including the police, Islamic Revolution Guards Corps, and Basij, whose decisive actions exposed and dismantled the conspiracy.
The statement reaffirmed their commitment to working tirelessly to resolve economic and social challenges, ensuring public safety, and fulfilling their duties without any negligence.
They also pledged to act with wisdom and prudence, in line with the guidance of Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, and to uphold the sacrifices of the hundreds of thousands of martyrs of the Islamic Revolution.
The heads of government branches stressed the importance of justice in addressing recent terrorist incidents, calling for the swift identification and punishment of perpetrators while ensuring fairness and mercy for those not involved in the violence.
