AhlulBayt News Agency: Judiciary Chief Gholam-Hossein Mohseni-Ejei has called on the Iranian judicial and security apparatus to coordinate with law enforcement and intelligence forces in maintaining vigilance and thwarting any attempt to disrupt the country’s security.
In a meeting of the Supreme Council of the Judiciary on Monday, Mohseni-Ejei emphasized the need for measures to prevent the activities of those who intend to create chaos, in any way, in line with the goals and intentions of the enemy.
He further noted that evidence on the ground indicate the enemy is trying to endanger the security of citizens by giving signals to elements inside Iran, adding that these people, in unison with the enemy, are busy creating despair and hopelessness into society and among the youth.
Referring to criminals and mercenaries serving the Israeli regime and the United States and violating the country’s sacred values, the judiciary chief said all relevant departments are obligated to deal with those who, willingly or unwillingly, play on the enemy’s turf.
At the beginning, Mohseni-Ejei commemorating the auspicious days of the victory of the Islamic Revolution, said that Iranian affairs in all fields, even in the appointment of key officials, were controlled by foreigners.
He underlined that there are some people who have forgotten the catastrophic state of the country prior to the victory of the Islamic Revolution.
Regarding the cases of elements accused of committing terrorist acts and rioting during the recent foreign-backed riots in Iranian cities, Mohseni-Ejei emphasized once again that all relevant judicial departments should, with utmost care, consideration, and observance, determine the cases as the people expect.
Elsewhere in his remarks, the head of the judiciary called for foiling the enemy’s concentrated effort in putting the people’s livelihoods in a tight spot by disrupting the economy and production and hoarding necessities.
