Ahlulbayt News Agency: The head of Iran’s Organization of Islamic Promotion said the recent riots in Iran was the second round of confrontation with the U.S.-Israeli enemy following the 12-day imposed war in June.
Hujjat-ul-Islam Mohammad Qomi said Iran is in the middle of the second round of a complex hybrid war with the United States and Israeli regime referring to the recent terrorist attacks in multiple Iranian cities.
He noted that the 12-day imposed war inflicted damage to the enemies who failed to achieve their objectives warning that the enemies did not let end their efforts and began a new round of hybrid war against Iran in the recent terrorist attacks.
The cleric quoted the Leader of Islamic Revolution in an earlier speech where Ayatollah Khamenei said enemies have been preparing for the June war for 20 years expecting that Iranian people cooperate with them during and after the war but their plans were all in vain.
Hujjat-ul-Islam Qomi made the comments at a meeting of Tehran University students following the recent armed terrorist attacks in multiple Iranian cities that killed hundreds of people, including security forces and citizens.
According to Iran security officials more than 3,000 people were arrested, among them ringleaders, members of terrorist teams and saboteurs affiliated with Israeli regime.
