Public cooperation leads to 90% success in arresting Israeli agents

Iran’s police chief says Israeli attacks on law enforcement stemmed from public cooperation that led to mass arrests of regime-linked spies. A centralized anti-espionage HQ in Tehran now oversees these efforts.

AhlulBayt News Agency: Iran’s police chief says Israeli attacks on Law Enforcement Force facilities during the recent conflict were motivated by anger over the public’s strong cooperation in exposing Israeli spies.

Brigadier General Ahmad-Reza Radan made the remarks on Thursday while addressing the strikes that targeted police sites during the war imposed by Israel from June 13 to 25.

He praised the public for actively assisting law enforcement in identifying and capturing suspected spies and traitors.

Radan stated that this level of citizen cooperation had “enraged” the Israeli regime, adding that causing such frustration within its ranks was a matter of national pride.

Other Iranian officials who visited the affected facilities also described the Israeli strikes as vengeful, arguing that the police had been deliberately targeted out of spite.

Radan emphasized that public tips contributed to 90% of police operations in apprehending Israeli agents, collaborators, and misled individuals involved in sabotage efforts.

He noted that during the war period, there was a 40% surge in public reports to the police concerning suspicious activity.

‘Central headquarters set up to identify spies’
Tehran, he added, had established a specialized operations center to coordinate these efforts and manage cooperation.

This central hub had branches nationwide, and law enforcement was able to respond to alerts about suspicious activity within one minute.

Radan urged citizens to continue reporting any suspected espionage, helping to “frustrate the enemy.”

He did not disclose the exact number of arrests, but said it was high enough to make Israel realize that its intelligence network in Iran had been severely weakened—just like its military power.

His remarks referred to Iran’s swift retaliatory strikes, which ultimately forced Israel to accept a ceasefire.
