AhlulBayt News Agency: The staff of the Al-Abbas's (p) Shrine have prepared the gates of the courtyard of the shrine of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him) to receive the mourning processions during the month of Muharram.
The assistant head of the Security Department at the holy shrine, Mr. Redha Naji, said: "The department's staff, in cooperation with the Holy Courtyard Care Department, have completed the task of covering the gates of the shrine of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him) with sand and red carpets to ensure the smooth movement of the Hussaini processions and the mourning visitors, providing a safe atmosphere during the performance of the Hussaini rituals."
He added that "the purpose of spreading sand is to mitigate the risks of crowd surges, especially at gates that include terraces or slopes that may obstruct the movement of processions and visitors."
The departments of the Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine are mobilising their staff efforts to provide the best services to visitors coming from inside and outside Iraq to commemorate Ashura at the shrines of Imam al-Hussayn and his brother Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon them).
