AhlulBayt News Agency: The Palestinian Ministry of Health has reported that 79 Palestinians were killed in the Gaza Strip over the past 24 hours as a result of continued Israeli military attacks.
According to the ministry, the total number of Palestinians killed since the war began on October 7, 2023, has reached 56,077, while the number of those injured stands at 131,848.
In its latest offensive, Israeli forces also left 289 Palestinians wounded in the past day alone. Additionally, since March 18, 2015, 5,759 Palestinians have been killed and 19,807 wounded in attacks on Gaza.
Tragically, the bodies of thousands remain trapped beneath the rubble of destroyed buildings, with rescue operations hampered by ongoing hostilities.
In a particularly devastating development, 49 Palestinians were killed and 197 injured in targeted strikes on aid distribution centers within the last 24 hours, underscoring the worsening humanitarian crisis in the besieged territory.
