AhlulBayt News Agency: Two young Palestinian men were injured on Tuesday evening in a violent settler attack, reportedly backed by Israeli occupation forces, in the Qamas mountain area between Beita and Osrin, south of Nablus. Their medical condition remains unknown.
In a related incident, Israeli forces stormed the village of Al-Lubban Al-Sharqiya, also south of Nablus, and seized a residential building belonging to local resident Nael Owais. The home was converted into a military outpost, with Israeli flags raised on its rooftop.
Eyewitnesses reported that several military vehicles and infantry units roamed the village streets, harassing residents and restricting their movement.
According to the Government Information Center, Israel has intensified its policy of turning Palestinian homes in the West Bank into military outposts. These actions often involve forced evictions, vandalism, and the transformation of entire neighborhoods into closed military zones—clear violations of international law.
The seized homes are used for surveillance, command centers, sniper nests, or makeshift interrogation rooms. In some cases, entire apartment buildings have been repurposed into military compounds.
Residents have testified to being beaten and humiliated during evictions, with reports of soldiers stealing personal belongings and deliberately destroying household contents.
