AhlulBayt News Agency: A gathering at Kesar Baug Hall in Mumbai marked the 36th demise anniversary of Imam Khomeini, where attendees reflected on his lasting impact on the Islamic Republic of Iran and the global Muslim community.
According to Iran Press, speakers at the event emphasized Imam Khomeini’s dedication to the Qur’an and AhlulBayt (a.s.) and his vision for Muslim unity. They urged attendees to embrace his principles of resistance against tyranny and uphold moral integrity in leadership.
The event featured a performance of the song Salaam Farmande (Salute to the Commander) by over 50 children, symbolizing the transmission of Khomeini’s ideals to future generations. Respected Ulema spoke on his stand against oppression, while an audio-visual presentation chronicled key moments in his life and contributions.
The commemoration concluded with prayers and a renewed commitment to preserving Khomeini’s values, highlighting his lasting influence more than three decades after his passing.
