AhlulBayt News Agency: The Sunni Friday prayer leader of Incheh Borun, Madad Houshmand, stated that before the revolution, the late Imam openly criticized the Shah regime, the Zionist regime, and the United States, warning the people about the Shah’s oppressive policies. Consequently, the Shah regime arrested and exiled him for 15 years.
Houshmand remarked that in response to this oppression, the revolutionary people of Iran took to the streets, leading to violent crackdowns by the Pahlavi regime, which resulted in the deaths of many protesters.
He added that the Islamic Revolution was achieved through immense sacrifices, with thousands of martyrs giving their lives. He urged people to uphold their legacy and continue on the path toward freedom and security.
Another Friday prayer leader from Incheh Borun, Abdul Rashid Qiyasi, highlighted the significance of the first ten days of Dhul-Hijjah and Eid al-Adha, citing hadiths and narrations from Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).
He stated that acts of worship and charity during these ten days carry immense rewards, and fasting during this period is strongly recommended.
Qiyasi recalled a saying of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH): “Whoever fasts on the first day of the first ten days of Dhul-Hijjah, Allah Almighty will forgive all of their sins.”
He further noted that the last ten days of Ramadan, the first ten days of Dhul-Hijjah, and the first ten days of Muharram are among the most sacred periods in Islam, where worship and charity hold greater spiritual value.
Mohammad Jorjani, the Sunni Friday prayer leader of Tatar Alia, emphasized the significance of Eid al-Adha, describing it as one of the most important Muslim festivals, marking divine forgiveness and servitude.
