AhlulBayt News Agency: Sultan Haitham bin Tariq Al Said of Oman extended his heartfelt congratulations to Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian on the occasion of Eid al-Adha, the Festival of Sacrifice in Islam.
On Wednesday, the Sultan made a phone call to President Pezeshkian to celebrate this significant Islamic festival, wishing blessings and happiness for the nations of Iran and Oman, as well as for the entire Islamic community.
The Sultan expressed his satisfaction with President Pezeshkian’s recent visit to Muscat, highlighting the growing relationship between the two countries. He also conveyed his hope to visit Tehran soon to meet with senior Iranian officials.
In response, President Pezeshkian thanked the Sultan for the phone call and congratulated him and the Omani people on this important Islamic occasion. He expressed his gratitude to the Omani government for the warm welcome and hospitality extended during his recent visit to Muscat.
The president emphasized the constructive agreements reached during his trip, expressing optimism that these agreements would be implemented with the Sultan’s support and follow-up. He noted that such collaboration would help both Iran and Oman achieve their common goals and interests, particularly in political, economic, scientific, and technological fields.
President Pezeshkian reiterated his official invitation for the Sultan to visit Tehran.
