AhlulBayt News Agency: He stated that although the Imam had a short period to carry forward the mission of his noble forefathers, his time was marked by indelible contributions to Islamic history.
He said: Despite facing severe and complex circumstances, Imam Taqi (A.S.) fulfilled the responsibilities of Imamate with immense wisdom, foresight, and strategic vision—allowing generations since to benefit from the blessings of true leadership.
Highlighting the Imam’s eternal guidance, he quoted one of his teachings:
The beauty of speech lies in eloquence, the justice of faith in fairness, the comfort of worship in serenity, the dignity of knowledge in humility, the respect of intellect in etiquette, the generosity of patience in openness, the fear of God in prolonged weeping, and the beauty of the soul in self-discipline.
These principles, Allama Naqvi stated, serve as timeless instructions for all of humanity.
He added that Imam Muhammad Taqi (A.S.) consistently directed the Muslim Ummah toward the divine injunctions of the Qur’an, the noble conduct of the Prophet (PBUH), and the sacred teachings of the infallible Imams.
Naqvi Said: His guidance was not limited to his followers but extended equally to all Muslims and even to the rulers of his time. Like his predecessors, the Imam firmly upheld the prophetic responsibility of enjoining good and forbidding evil (amr bil ma‘roof wa nahi ‘anil munkar), enduring immense hardships along the way.
Recalling a statement of Imam Taqi's father, Imam Ali al-Ridha (A.S.), in response to critics questioning his lack of offspring, he said:
Having children is in accordance with the will of the Creator, and soon my Lord will bless me with a son who will be the true heir to the Imamate and a guide for God's creation.
Allama Sajid Naqvi praised Imam Muhammad Taqi's strategic leadership, wisdom in confronting anti-religious forces and rulers, and his unyielding commitment to truth. He called upon the Muslim Ummah to study the Imam’s sacred life and strive to follow it sincerely so that they may walk a clear and steadfast path and attain salvation in the Hereafter.
