AhlulBayt News Agency: The Hamas Movement has confirmed that no humanitarian aid has entered the Gaza Strip, accusing Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu of misleading global public opinion. Hamas claimed Netanyahu is maintaining a delegation in Doha with no real mandate to negotiate a settlement.
In a statement released on Tuesday, Hamas described Netanyahu’s claims about aid reaching Gaza as a deceptive maneuver meant to mislead the international community. The movement emphasized that not a single aid truck has been delivered, including those that reached the Kerem Abu Salem crossing but were not received by any international organization.
Hamas further accused Israel of escalating aggression, deliberately targeting civilian infrastructure, and committing massacres against women and children. These actions, it stated, particularly intensified during the release of Israeli captive Edan Alexander and ongoing negotiations in Doha, proving Netanyahu’s rejection of any settlement.
The movement placed full responsibility on Israel for undermining efforts to reach an agreement. It cited official statements confirming that Israel intends to continue its military assaults and forcibly displace Palestinians, defying international peace efforts.
“The growing international rejection of the aggression and blockade — most recently voiced by several European countries — represents further condemnation of Israeli policies and increasing support for our people’s just demands,” Hamas stated.
Hamas also expressed gratitude for mediation efforts and reiterated its commitment to engaging in any initiative aimed at ending Israeli aggression, securing an Israeli withdrawal, lifting the blockade, allowing humanitarian aid to enter Gaza, and initiating reconstruction efforts in the Strip.
