AhlulBayt News Agency: The United States Treasury Department has imposed sanctions on two Iranian individuals and one company. The announcement came on Monday, just a day after the fourth round of nuclear talks between Tehran and Washington in Oman.

According to Al Arabiya, the sanctions were introduced following discussions in Muscat, where Iranian and American officials met to negotiate Tehran’s nuclear program.

The US Treasury Department cited "non-proliferation" as the reason for the new sanctions. The statement named Mohammad Reza Seddiqi Sabir and Ahmad Haghighat Talab as individuals added to the sanctions list.
