AhlulBayt News Agency: The senior Shia cleric Grand Ayatollah Jafar Sobhani has issued a message of condolence following the explosion in Shahid Rajaee Port in southern city of Bandar Abbas, the text of which is as follows:
In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
We belong to Allah and to Him we shall return
We’re saddened by the news of the tragic incident in Bandar Abbas; a painful tragedy that caused the loss of life and injury to a number of our fellow citizens in Shahid Rajaee port blast.
While expressing my deep sympathy and condolences to the bereaved families, especially the noble people of Bandar Abbas, I ask God Almighty to grant the deceased mercy, and eternal peace, to grant patience and a great reward to the bereaved families, and to bestow upon the injured a speedy recovery and full health.
