AhlulBayt News Agency: Grand Ayatollah Hossein Mazaheri, has issued a message following the explosion at Shahid Rajaee Port in southern city of Bandar Abbas, the text of which is as follows:
In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
We belong to Allah and to Him we shall return
The catastrophic incident of the explosion at Shahid Rajaee Port in Bandar Abbas, which caused the death and injury of a large number of our compatriots and caused extensive damage, pains the heart.
We extend our condolences to the bereaved families and to all the noble people of Iran, especially the people of Hormozgan Province. We ask God Almighty divine reward for the victims of this tragic incident, patience for the bereaved families, and a speedy recovery for the injured.
I hope that the authorities, with the necessary wisdom and prudence, in addition to their efforts to help the injured and to accurately identify the causes of this tragic incident, will seriously prevent the occurrence of such tragic and damaging incidents in future.
