AhlulBayt News Agency: During his ethics course at the Imam Sadiq Institute in Qom, Grand Ayatollah Jafar Sobhani reflected on verse 90 of Surah An-Nahl, emphasizing that justice is an intrinsic quality of humankind.
Quoting Imam Ali (PBUH), he remarked that the Commander of the Faithful had spoken timeless truths that resonate in today’s world. He noted that while justice and fairness are easy to discuss, acting upon them requires true courage. He criticized those who deliver lengthy speeches on justice yet fail to translate words into meaningful action.
Accorcing to Hawzah News, he then turned his attention to global human rights organizations, stating that while these entities frequently discuss human rights, publish articles, and deliver speeches with great eloquence, they often fall short when it comes to taking concrete action.
Addressing the current crisis in Gaza, Ayatollah Sobhani condemned the ongoing genocide and lamented that no meaningful steps had been taken to stop it. He asserted that human rights organizations limit themselves to mere condemnation instead of actively working to prevent such atrocities.
