AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): Hujjat al-Islam Mousavi will be appointed as the new head of the Islamic Centre of England and the representative of the Supreme Leader in the United Kingdom.
On Friday, June 14th, the Islamic Centre of England issued a letter of invitation to scholars and believers to attend the farewell ceremony for Hujjat al-Islam Mohammad Ali Shomali and the introduction of Hujjat al-Islam Sayyed Hashem Mousavi as the new representative of the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Khamenei, in the United Kingdom.
According to the announced program, the ceremony will be held on Thursday, June 20th at the Islamic Centre of England in London.
Hujjat al-Islam Mousavi is the fourth president of the Islamic Centre of England and the representative of the Supreme Leader in the United Kingdom.
The new head of the Islamic Centre of the Islamic Republic of Iran was educated at Imam Sadiq University in Tehran and at Feyziyeh Seminary in Qom and among his teachers were Ayatollah Hoseyn Vahid-Khorasani and Ayatollah Naser Makarem-Shirazi.
The Islamic Centre of England was founded in 1998. The centre is located in the northwest of London in the district of Maida Vale.
