(AhlulBayt News Agency) - Hundreds of thousands people across Pakistan participated in the rallies in solidarity with Palestinian people, to condemn the illegal occupation of Israel.
The central rally was organized by Imamia Students Organization in metropolitan city of Karachi on Friday 23rd Ramdan.
The participants including large number of women and children also chanted slogans against the Israel and America. The participants also burnt the flags of Israel and the US.
An Al-Quds rally was taken out from the Numaish Chowrangi to the Tibbat Centre, with marchers vowing to keep on observing the day till the liberation of Palestine.
The similar rallies were witnessed in Islamabad, Lahore, Sukkur, Shikarpur, Larkana, Quetta, Nawashah, Rawalpindi, Gilgit Baltistan and Peshawar, Multan, Faisalabad in which the clerics from different sects, members of student organisations, social and political personalities took part.
Speaking on the occasion, Ansar Mehdi said that the United States had shifted its embassy in Jerusalem Al-Quds which hurt the sentiments of the Muslims. “The so called Muslim rulers should be ashamed as they have kept a mum on this serious issue,” he added.
Hamas Deputy Chief thanks Pakistani nation over support to Palestine
Hamas deputy chief Ismail Ramzan thanked Azadi-e-Quds Tehreek and Palestine Foundation Pakistan over their support to the Palestine cause and huge participation of Pakistanis in the International Quds Day rallies across Pakistan.
In his message on Quds Day, he saluted Pakistanis and those organizations mainly Palestine Foundation and Azadi-e-Quds Tehreek who organize programmes to express solidarity with Palestinians.
Ismail Ramzan, Hamas deputy chief, said that Palestine doesn’t belong to Zionists or Israel. He said Palestine belongs to Palestinians and nobody else has any claim over this sacred land. He said Palestine including Quds and Aqsa mosque would be liberated soon. He said Palestinians love Pakistanis and appreciate their struggle and solidarity for Palestine Cause.
