(AhlulBayt News Agency) - Bahrainis, as they did in previous weeks, performed prayers individually in the Imam al-Sadiq Mosque, where major Friday prayers were usually taking place.
Bahrainis posted on their Twitter accounts photos of the siege imposed on the town, where a sit-in is organized in front of Ayatollah Sheikh Issa Qassem’s house, to protest the authorities’ decision to strip him off citizenship.
After the prayers, Bahrainis came out in a mass demonstration to stress their rejection of official procedures and to express their solidarity with Ayatollah Qassem and opposition leader Sheikh Ali Salman.
