SRINAGAR, Kashmir (AhlulBayt News Agency) - Anjuman-e-Sharie Shian president and senior Hurriyat leader, Agha Syed Hassan Al-Moosavi Al-Safavi was Sunday detained by the Indian forces after he tried to lead a peaceful protest in Budgam.
In a statement, the spokesman of the party said that Agha Hasan while defying restrictions led noon prayers on road in Budgam, on Sunday.
“He was later put under house arrest when tried to lead a peaceful march in the town,” the spokesman said.
Agha Hassan condemned the targeting a mentally challenged man, Showkat Ahmed Misger, with pellets resulting in brain injuries and damage to his both eyes in Safa Kadal area of Srinagar.
