Saudi regime executes another Shia citizen in Qatif

Al Saud has reportedly executed another Shia citizen in Qatif despite rights groups' rejection of allegations against him.

AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): Al Saud has reportedly executed another Shia citizen in Qatif despite rights groups' rejection of allegations against him.

Less than 10 days after Saudi court issued death sentence for the Shia citizen Muslim Muhammad, his execution has been confirmed by authorities.

Saudi media outlets have announced the execution of Saudi Shia citizen Muslim Muhammad under baseless accusation of affiliation with armed bandit and killing of a police officer while an European human rights institution had rejected the allegation.

Muslim Muhammad was a young citizen from Qatif and was arrested in 2015 when he was a teenager.

Several minority Shia citizens have been executed in Saudi Arabia under different allegations.

In 2019 Saudi Arabia beheaded 37 of its own Shia citizens over alleged terrorism-related crimes to set the largest mass execution of Shias in its history as Amnesty International said most of those executed were convicted after sham trials that relied on confessions extracted through torture.
