Concurrent with the last ten days of Safar, a group of Syrian martyrs’ parents attended in the Razavi holy shrine in Mashhad - Iran.
Specific to programs of the last ten days of Safar, this 40-membered group came to visit the holy shrine of Imam Reza (A) meanwhile benefiting the cultural programs prepared by the Office of Non-Iranian Pilgrims’ Affairs of Astan Quds Razavi.
Hikmat al-Zein, father of a martyr said, “Martyrs stand in a very high position before God; they are companions of the prophet (S.A.W.) and the pious men, and they can be our intercessors in the resurrection day.
The man, who had lost two children for the way of God, remarked, “The first thing that grants man the glory and esteem before God and people is attachment to martyrs.”
Referring to the recent wars in Syria, he asserted, “Unfortunately, it is two years that people of our country are engaging in civil war and unprecedented suffering and homelessness; yet, we are always ready to sacrifice ourselves for our country and defend it.”
“Families of martyrs are facing the ordeal and any troublesome action they do for the sake of god, certainly deserves more reward by God”, he added.
Visiting the Razavi holy shrine for the first time he said, “I have an indescribable feeling seeing the sacred dome and Zarih of Imam Reza (A.S.) and I’m very thankful to God for granting me the success for visiting this holy shrine.”
Regarding the cultural-propagative services for non-Iranian pilgrims in the holy shrine, he said, “I really appreciate the Islamic Republic of Iran and Astan Quds Razavi for providing facilities and programs for this group of pilgrims.”
It is notable that holding lecture, question and answer, and training assemblies, offering brochures, audio-visual cassettes, and CDs are among programs prepared for non-Iranian pilgrims in the Dar al-Rahmah portico.
After making use of different cultural and propagative programs, the respected parents of Syrian martyrs were served in the Hazrat Banquet Hall.
