Development of Tehran-Cairo relationships is in the interest of regional states and the move will cut the aliens’ hands off the region, said Iran's permanent representative to the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC).

(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - Talking to us on the sidelines of NAM Summit, Hamid Reza Dehqani added that founders of NAM always supported countries’ territorial integrity and independence against foreign powers.

If NAM adheres to its fundamental principles, it should show reaction to any foreign interference and military acts in other countries.

Promoting Tehran-Cairo ties will not only restrict aliens’ intervention but will also help solve regional crises, Dehqani said.

As to the role of NAM in supporting Iran’s peaceful nuclear program, he said that NAM was one of the institutes that has backed verified Iran’s nuclear activities.
