The New York Times in an article by Iranian writer and researcher about the 16th NAM summit stated:”this summit will enhance the regional and international Influence of Iran”.

(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - Mr. Kaveh Afrasyabi the Iranian writer and researcher who is now a US resident called NAM summit in Tehran, the Conference of hope.He regarded the 16th NAM summit, which is going to be held in 30-31 August 2012, in Tehran and stated that this summit will enhance the regional and international Influence of Iran.He also restated:”Unfortunately America and the West had negative approaches against Tehran summit and they have asked Ban-Ki-Mun not to participate in this summit, but the presence of Mr.ban ki mun in this summit is appreciable.This Iranian researcher considered the importance of this summit on Stability and enhancing of peace in the region and mentioned the plan of prime minister of India and President Asef Ali Zardari for mutual cooperation and negotiations on the sideline of this summit.Afrasyabi continued:”In recent conference of OIC in Mecca, Egypt’s president Mohammad Morsi suggested the formation of a group with Iran, Turkey and Saudi Arabia as its members to analyze Syria issue. This idea would be acceptable for NAM members and shows that the Middle East after the recent changes can determine its own destiny and also emphasize on presence of Morsi which shows normalizing relations between the two countries.He finally asks from the western countries to review their hostile stand point against this summit regarding to positive achievements which is expecting from this summit. /129
