Israeli ambulance demands cost of carrying wounded Palestinian to hospital

(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - The Magen David Adom (MDA) or the ambulance service in Israel has asked the relatives of a wounded Palestinian boy to pay the cost of carrying him to hospital.The family of Mohammed Rashed, 16, from Yatta village in Al-Khalil province said that the MDA asked them to pay the sum of 230 dollars for carrying Rashed to Hadassah Ein Karem hospital in Jerusalem.Rashed was hit with a number of bullets at the hands of the Israeli occupation forces before his arrest on 8/3/2012.He is now held in Ramle prison hospital with broken pelvis after the bullets hit his back and pelvis./129
