(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - Senior leader of Pakistan’s top religious party on Wednesday said Imam Khoemeni was as a great leader, who guided his nation to an Islamic Revolution.
The Deputy Chief of Jamaat-i-Islami (JI) Sirajul Haq said that although many years have passed since Imam Khoemeni’s passing away, his objectives are fresh and have still great effects on other countries.
The JI leader said Imam Khoemeni had brought an Islamic Revolution in the country that had changed the entire course of the Iranian nation. “Imam Khoemeni has taught Iranian nation to fight against aggressor,” he added.
The religious leader added that Imam Khomeini gave a true concept of Islam and set an example for the other Muslims' countries.
'There is no doubt that Imam Khomeini was a great leader, not only for Muslims but for the rest of the world', he opined.
Sirajul Haq said that because of strong leadership of Imam Khoemeni Iranians have achieved their destiny.
The deputy chief of Jamaat-i-Islami said that Imam Khoemeni had stressed for unity among Ummah and ‘today we see that Muslims are facing problems because they are not united.’
The religious leader urged Ummah's leadership to follow the foot steps of Imam Khomeini to counter anti-Islam western drive.
Sirajul Haq said that Imam Khoemeni had raised the issue of Palestine to the whole world. He said struggle of Muslims will continue till the liberation of Al-Quds.
The JI leader said that Iran is the only country that is extending full support to the Palestinian government in an effective manner.
He demanded of the Israel to immediately stop violation of fundamental rights of people of Palestine.
