KOHAT, Pakistan (Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - Attackers December 26 fatally shot a leading member of the Shia-Sunni Peace Jirga of Hangu, Maulana Niazbar, and injured his companion, Maulana Zeenatullah, on the Indus Highway in Kohat, media reported.Armed men riding motorbikes opened fire on Niazbar, who is a member of the Sunni Supreme Council in Hangu District and who had come to Kohat to attend two separate jirgas. He died on the spot.Zeenatullah, a resident of the Jarma area in Kohat, was hospitalised in Peshawar in serious condition.
