(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - Israeli forces raided the northern West Bank early Tuesday and detained 10 people.
Sources from the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine told that eight of the men were affiliated with the group. Soldiers broke into several homes to make the arrests, the PFLP source added.
Sufyan Isteiti, Muayyad Amer, Jamal Zubeidi and Muhammad Karam Mansour were detained from Jenin.
Several others were detained from villages in the surrounding area.
Jaafar Fawzi Abu Salah was detained from Arraba, Fadi Ubeidallah and Joseph Walid Salih from Zababdeh, and Majid Nueirat from Maythaloun.
Soldiers also arrested two men at the entrance to Beit Furik village in Nablus, witnesses said.
Ahmad Hussein Hanini, 23, and Wahid Azzam Hajj Muhammad, 22, were arrested after the army erected a flying checkpoint at Beit Furik. Hajj Muhammad is a student at An-Najah University in Nablus.
Dozens of vehicles were also inspected by soldiers, witnesses said.
The Israeli army also raided the Jenin villages of Yabad, Sanur, Jaba, al-Shuhada and Bir al-Basha, witnesses told Ma'an. No detentions were reported.
An Israeli army spokeswoman confirmed that multiple arrests were made in the Northern West Bank. All those arrested were taken for security questioning, she added.
