Iraqi Vice President: "Our meetings with Hakeem are useful and constructive"

(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - Vice President and head of Tajdeed Movement, Tariq Al Hashimi, said “we support and noble solution for the political dispute that takes the country out of this narrowness out to the national interest wideness.”A statement issued by Hashimi’s office quoted him as saying, during a meeting with Ammar Al Hakeem, head of the Supreme Iraqi Islamic Council, “we should concentrate on economy and development as well as improving life conditions and the people’s sufferings.”He continued “our meetings with Hakeem are useful and constructive. We discussed today many important and sensitive issues and files. We also reviewed the status quo and instant solutions for the crisis. I have conveyed to him the Iraqiya Slate’s appreciation of the initiative he proposed a few days ago.”For his part, Hakeem expressed his happiness for meeting with Hashimi, describing it as useful and constructive.He pointed out to the “the necessity of calming things down in the political and media statements, cooperation between the national powers, support the government in its right orientations, and to encourage the government on taking decisions that serve the citizens’ interests.”/129
