Imam Khamenei Urges Liberation of Palestinian Lands

 Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Sayyed Ali Khamenei has strongly criticized US President Barack Obama for setting the Zionist regime's security as his red line.

“The US president says that Israel's security is his red line. What has drawn this red line? The interests of the American nation or Obama's need for the money and support of Zionist companies to secure his second term as the US president?” the Leader said Saturday at the fifth International Conference on Palestinian Intifada in Tehran.

“This red line drawn by Obama and people like him will be crossed by Muslim nations that have risen up,” Ayatollah Khamenei added.

The Leader said that the real threat to the Zionist regime was the resolve of Muslim countries that did not want America, Europe or their stooges to rule over their countries.

Ayatollah Khamenei said that Western countries had to stop their support for the Zionist regime and recognize Palestinians' rights or face heavy blows in a not very distant future.

He also urged Muslim countries to cut off diplomatic and economic relations with the Zionist regime to prove their sincerity in supporting Palestinians, saying: "The most important pillar in supporting the Palestinian nation is cutting support for the usurper enemy."

The Leader rejected any solution seeking to split Palestine and called for the liberation of all Palestinian lands.

Ayatollah Khamenei said that a solution suggesting the existence of a Palestinian state along with an Israeli one amounted to the renouncement of Palestinians' rights, adding that any plan needed to be based on the principle of “the whole Palestine for all Palestinians.”

The Leader reiterated Iran's proposal of staging referendum for all Palestinians, saying: "Today, the Zionist regime is hated and America is confused more than ever."

Ayatollah Khamenei said IRI neither proposes to cast the Jews in the sea, as some proposed in the past, nor it accepts the UN arbitration. “We propose to stage a referendum,” he added.
 
Ayatollah Khamenei rejected the PA bid for statehood in UN as a renewal of former Israeli-favored initiatives like the Oslo agreement and said Muslims only settle for a full Palestine, from river (Jordan River) to sea (offshore Gaza).

Ayatollah Khamenei said the west was nowadays at a crossroad. “It should abandon its historical tyranny by recognizing the Palestinian rights or it would receive harder blows in no far a future,” the IR Leader said.

The fifth International Conference on Palestinian Intifada opened at the Summit Conference Hall in Tehran on Saturday.

The conference focuses on the restoration of Palestinians' rights, including their rights to return to their homeland and determine their own fate, and on the liberation of Palestinian territories occupied by the Zionist regime.
