(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - Leader of the Supreme Iraqi Islamic Council (SIIC), Ammar al-Hakeem, affirmed that, “Iraq has a public will and the people put their confidence in those who perform well and they will withdraw their confidence in next election from those hesitant.

In a statement issued on Sunday, June 19, quoted him during a meeting with the Ministry of Industry’s Research and Development Body saying, “Continued rotation of power is a proof where public opinion has brought three prime ministers in 8 years.”

Hakeem stressed, “The necessity to keep up with science so Iraq will not lose it chance to develop.”

He affirmed, “It is not in Iraq’s interest to stay away from scientific progress, the world in witnessing.”
